Overview
Tiny Ledger is a local-first desktop finance and invoicing app. Your ledger and invoice data are stored on your computer unless you choose to use an optional feature that moves data elsewhere, such as Google Drive sync, backup, import, export, or email handoff.
Information Tiny Ledger Stores Locally
The desktop app may store save files, app settings, license activation details, diagnostic logs, local backup metadata, Google Drive connection tokens, Google account display information, and sync metadata on your device.
Google Drive Data
Google Drive connection is optional. If you connect Google Drive, Tiny Ledger requests the
following Google OAuth scopes: OpenID, email, profile, and Google Drive file access
through https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file.
Tiny Ledger uses these permissions to identify the connected Google account, display the connected email address, create and manage Tiny Ledger files and folders in your Google Drive, list Tiny Ledger save files available to the app, upload or download Tiny Ledger save data, sync change events, create compacted sync snapshots, and refresh your connection without asking you to sign in every time.
Tiny Ledger does not use Google Drive access to read unrelated Drive files, sell Google user data, serve advertising, or train artificial intelligence models. Tiny Ledger's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Website, Licensing, And Purchases
The Tiny Ledger website may process download requests, release metadata requests, license validation requests, license activation requests, and purchase-related webhook events from the payment provider. Purchase and order recovery are handled by Lemon Squeezy.
Sharing
Tiny Ledger does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only as needed to provide the app, process licensing or purchases, comply with law, prevent abuse, or operate services you choose to use, such as Google Drive or your default email client.
Security
Google Drive tokens are stored locally and encrypted with the operating system's secure storage when available. You can disconnect Google Drive inside Tiny Ledger or revoke access from your Google Account permissions page.
Data Deletion
You can delete local Tiny Ledger save files from your computer and delete Tiny Ledger files from your Google Drive. Disconnecting Google Drive removes the locally stored Google Drive authorization data from Tiny Ledger.
Contact
For privacy questions, contact Tiny Ledger support through the support email listed on the Google OAuth consent screen or purchase receipt.
